This is a rendition of the famous 13th century Latin Catholic hymn, "Dies Irae" (or, "Day of Wrath," about the Second Coming of Christ and Judgment Day). This rendition is off the 1994 CD, "Ego sum Ressurectio," and is difficult to find.

I had the idea to create this track, which mixes a sample of the medieval composition "Danse Royale" with a hip hop beat. The song sample is from the "Music from the Time of the Crusades" CD, and the beat is from "I Ain't No Joke" by Eric B (of course).

I had the idea to create this track, which mixes a recording of the Gregorian chant, "Dies Irae," (or, "Day of Wrath") with a hip hop beat. The lyrics of the chant can be found online and I reccommend you read the translation- it is a very powerful hymn about Judgment Day and the Second Coming. An original plain chant version can be found in my videos.
